General
Denim clothing of any description is not allowed on the course or in the Clubhouse. Neither are trainers.
For men, shirts must have collars/crew necks or roll necks and be tucked into trousers/shorts. Ladies shirts must be neat and appropriate for golf-if no collar they must have sleeves. They may be worn loose if so designed. Singlets, sloganed T shirts or football style shirts may not be worn.
The only shorts permissible are tailored shorts and they must be of a reasonable length. They may be worn with knee length socks or predominantly white sports socks except that Ladies may wear appropriate ankle socks.
On occasions a Club Official may give dispensation with regard to the relaxation of dress and dining rules.
Members are reminded that shoes must be changed in the locker rooms and not in the car park. Gentlemen are to wear socks at all times on the golf course, on the patio, and in the public rooms of the clubhouse.
Clubhouse
Smart casual wear may be worn throughout the Club up to 6.30 pm at any time other than when a club function is in progress which calls for a particular form of dress. After 6.30 pm, other than for informal occasions, which will be notified by the Committee, gentlemen must wear a jacket with a tie, cravat or roll neck/turtle neck shirt or sweater in the Dining Room. Ladies are expected to be appropriately attired at these times. Golf shoes may only be worn in the Spike Bar and corridors. Shorts are not permitted in the dining room other than when ordering food or at breakfast prior to a shotgun start. This does not apply to ladies providing they are wearing long dress shorts with a suitable smart top (golf shorts and golf shirts are not acceptable. Gentlemen are to wear socks.
